Deepankar Badminton Academy founded at RTISC

By Umesh Parida ULWE: A noted bad- minton star will coach the budding badminton enthusiasts at the Deepankar Badminton Academy founded at the Ramseth Thakur International Sports Complex here. Senior badminton player Deepankar Bhatta- charya will conduct the coaching of badminton players.

The badminton en- thusiasts will gather here to learn and hone their skill in the game.

Inaugurating the Deep- ankar Badminton Academy here, Ram- seth Thakur said that the academy will help those interested in bad- minton from Ulwe and nearby area. This is a part of the birthday cel- ebration of Panvel MLA Prashant Thakur.

Deepankar Bhatta- charya, who has repre- sented India two times in Olympic and has been national badmin- ton champion three times, will coach the new players. His expertise will help the new entrants in the game of badminton to improve their health, become physically fit, besides learning the sporting tactics on the field.

The academy will provide coaching to those interested in bad- minton on Friday, Sat- urday and Sunday. Deepankar Bhatta- charya who was present during the oc- casion was found satis- fied with the future growth of badminton here.
